Senior slide at its finest: Yesterday I interrupted my English teacher’s sophomore class to pass in 3 late assignments. She says nothing except “I read your piece for the class yesterday when you were out sick! It was incredibly beautiful.”
Hey thanks! Also I wasn’t sick I made up a fake doctors appointment and got myself dismissed. Whoops.

I want to fit in to the perfect space, feel natural and safe in a volatile place. And I want to grow old without the pain, give my body back to the earth and not complain.
It’s hard to appreciate the beauty of the sun streaming in through your window, onto your red bedroom walls and hardwood floor, when you’re not sure if you believe in (lasting) love anymore.
